Cardo is an experimental desktop of live pieces. I started it because I kept wanting to use one small part of an app without keeping the whole window around. Cardo lets me pull that part onto a desktop, where it stays connected to the app and can take different forms when I need it.

An input method in FreeBSD vt(4) console
Timeline:
VT-IME brings CJK input to FreeBSD's vt(4) console through librime. I began the project during Google Summer of Code 2021 and presented the work in 2023.

A Unicode typography tool
Timeline:
I made uniramp to try text art with more kinds of characters, especially CJK. It measures the visual density of the glyphs in a chosen font and uses the result to turn images into text.
